A Phonetic and Phonological Analysis of Some Dialects of the Greater Manchester Area

That's the title of my master's thesis, in which I analyse first and foremost the phonetic and phonological characteristics of the dialect in Greater Manchester, UK. In order to gather the material required, I conducted 12 interviews with informants in the Greater Manchester area, covering a range of ages and social backgrounds. Of course, this small project does not represent a quantitative analysis, for that would have required more money and time.
